Venue Information
A summer camp wedding isn’t exactly normal.
So we’re not surprised you would have questions about how all of this works.
Please reach out to us if you have any specific questions after reviewing our website.
How is this different than a normal wedding?
A bird’s eye view of Camp Tyler Hill
Address
The biggest difference between a camp wedding and a normal wedding is that everyone will stay on site at the venue. Check in begins on Friday afternoon but people are welcome to arrive anytime on Friday or Saturday (though we suggest arriving early on Friday for the full experience.)
Camp staff will be on hand to assist every step of the way, from driving folks around in golf carts to handing out sporting equipment and lifeguarding at the heated pool. Uber-style golf carts will be available all weekend for those concerned about mobility.
The marriage ceremony will be Saturday afternoon, but we will have group activities planned for the entire weekend. Of course, you are more than welcome to roam the property and make up your own schedule.
Rather than doing a “wedding block” hotel rate, we’ve reserved a designated amount of lodges and hotel rooms for guests. Guests pay a $200 resort fee to Camp Tyler Hill for their lodging reservation when they RSVP. (Kids are free)

The bar will be open 24/7 with self-service alcohol and frozen food.

Summer camp is misleading. This is an upscale place.

It has a legit professional golf course. Make sure you bring your clubs.

These bunks aren’t the kind of mosquito-ridden buildings you are thinking about. Twin beds combine into Queen beds and there is air conditioning.

This building houses the hotel rooms. Which are smaller and more traditional than the bunk houses.

In case of rain, Tyler Hill staff will move the reception and ceremony indoors.
